SRG Board Meeting Minutes September 17, 2014 Meeting started at 7:10 PMIn Attendance: Mike Ziemann, Jeremy Mehrle, Jackie Parker, Luann Denten, Beth Bennett, Nancy Kelly, Sean Cochran, Michael Pastore, Jill Weissgerber, Alicia Stellhorn **Guests: **Julie Price and MSW associate to present Soulard Rebranding idea

  4. Taxi cab stands and traffic signs update

  6. Update on SRG tax exempt status

  7. SRG paperwork will get together and get us tax exempt.

  8. Lafayette School – Beth Bennett

  9. Lafayette School school board will sell a school to charter school, the issue is that she only has enough money to purchase the building and not enough to do heating, plumbing and asbestos removal. They suggested that she buys is and block off parts of the building that she’s not using.

  10. Update on Polar Wave building

  11. According to Phyllis the people renovating the Polar Wave building are green lit.

  17. They want our buy-in and have passion for it and promote it to the SRG

  18. We voted on waiting to support Soulard Alliance after we hear what Mardi Gras Inc and Soulard Market association say. The vote was unanimous.

  19. Request for funds for Soulard Garden Co-op Fundraiser – Michael Pastore

  20. Motion that we give $1500 to garden Co-op with amendment to do a project for up to $1500. - Motion Passed
